Didn't expect to see a lot of votes just yet anyways. I'll give it time and probably go against my gut and just build a forum up off of hopes and dreams and see where it goes to.

A little Sci-fi meets horror Idea I rapidly came up with in like 10 minutes that intrigued me.
So to explain it.
Sometime in the future human kind exits the Earth and lives in space. Earth becomes the capital of the solar system, Mars is colonized, some of the asteroids in the asteroid belt are turned to mining, the moons of Jupiter are colonized, and space stations around the solar system are set up. But humankind wants more.
They develop space travel and go to the Gliese 581 solar system, where they set rest to the rumors of gliese 581 c being another Earth. They colonize said system, renaming the planet to Argil, and simply calling Gliese 581, Gliese. But soon after their arrival transmissions from the Earth Solar System cease.
Those whom now inhabit Argil gather the means to travel back to Earth. Two years later they send a Marine craft back to the planet. Three months later they arrive to the solar system. Only a few signals are found, most are dull, and all of them are SoS signals. The marines check the first location, a Colony on the edge of Jupiter, where they find an infestation of the living dead. Quickly they retreat out of the Colony and set further to the next location where they find few survivors but one such from Earth.
The survivor tells of zombies, and where to find the source of it all, back on Earth. The marines allow the survivors onto their vessel, all fifty of them. They boost to Earth and land in the space port where the Survivors told them to look. After searching out the facility and finding plenty of undead they find the data they need, finding the idea to make a anti-body that cures all virus's and disease, but finding it also sabotaged thus the cause for all the infection. Their escape back to their ship didn't go very well as a couple of their members were bitten.
The ship was sent on a course for Argil. And it made it to the planet. The crew however, was hungry after a 3 month flight.
